HOUSE OF MOD (revamp)

Just DO IT!
As humans, our nature is to trust on our own abilities. Of course, we want a good thing that’s why we tend to work hard to possess those. It can be promotion at work, having the latest gadgets or owning luxury cars, fancy jewelries or big houses. Only to find out, all of these things we hold in our hands, eventually we will lose them all. There’s no assurance that you’ll have them the rest of your life. Those good things won’t last. Realizing, we are just wasting our time working so hard pursuing good things.
Why waste your time on getting good things if you can get the best things in life? The question is how? As Christians, our nature is to trust our Lord in everything that we do. The Lord knows what’s best for us.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, “declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your way and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8
Believe and be convinced that GOD is ABLE to GUARD what we have entrusted to him until that day. -2 Timothy 1:12
Remember that the good is the enemy of best. Pursuit of good things hinders obedience. So when God speaks to us, let this be our response “Yes Lord” and not “Wait Lord”. Late obedience is still disobedience. Be swift to respond when He opens the door for us to do so. Just do as the Lord commands us and surely the best things are yet to come. Learn to place things on God’s hands.
"I have held many things in my hands and lost them all; but the things
I have placed in God’s hands, those I always possess.”
-Joyce Earline Steelburg-
All too often you speak simply to fill the space with sound, because you feel too uncomfortable with the silence. But this silence is golden.
Silence is God’s first language; everything else is a poor translation. In order to hear that language, we must learn to be still and to rest in God.
— Thomas Keating quoted in The Sun & Moon Over Assisi by Gerard Thomas Straub
